What is the difference between a private class and a small group class?
Private surf class: 1 person, €70 per class. You have one-on-one coaching focused on your own level, pace and goals.
Small group surf class: minimum 2 people, €50 per person per class. You learn together in a shared session. Tell Bassi how many people want to join and each person’s experience so he can confirm the arrangements.
Can I book a private class on my own?
Yes. The private class is designed for one person with a dedicated coach. If you want to surf together as a couple, with friends or as a family, enquire about the small group class for at least two people.
Are the lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Bassi coaches beginners and intermediate surfers. Beginners work on ocean awareness, paddling, positioning and getting to their feet. If you already surf, the session can focus on wave selection, timing, turns and the habits you want to improve.
Do you teach children and families?
Yes. Family-friendly lessons are available for children aged 7 and above. Share the children’s ages, experience and the number of participants before booking so Bassi can discuss a suitable session. Parents can join the lesson or watch from the beach.
Who is Coach Bassi?
Mohamed Bassi is a local surf coach from the Tamraght area and an ISA-qualified instructor. He grew up surfing and bodyboarding, has worked as a lifeguard and brings a patient, personal approach to teaching. His coaching combines technique, ocean awareness and feedback in the water. Your Session and What Is Included
How long is a lesson, and what happens during it?
The private and small group classes are listed as 2.5-hour lessons. You start by discussing your goals and the conditions, followed by a warm-up and beach theory. In the water, Bassi gives feedback suited to your level. The session finishes with a review of what you worked on and your next steps.
Are a surfboard and wetsuit included?
Yes. Both classes include a surfboard and wetsuit, warm-up, beach theory and coaching. You can bring your own equipment if you prefer; let Bassi know when booking.
Is pick-up included?
The listed classes include pick-up and drop-off in the Agadir and Tamraght region. Pick-up or a meeting point can also be discussed for Taghazout. Send your exact accommodation location so Bassi can confirm the transport arrangements before your session.
Where will we surf?
Sessions take place around Tamraght and Taghazout. Spots may include Panorama Beach, Devil’s Rock, Banana Point and Crocro Beach. The location is chosen according to your level and the day’s conditions, rather than fixed in advance regardless of the waves.
What should I bring?
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and drinking water. A hat or an extra layer can help you stay comfortable before and after surfing. The surfboard and wetsuit are provided.
What if the conditions are unsuitable?
Bassi checks the conditions and selects a spot suited to the session. If the planned beach is unsuitable, another location may be chosen. If conditions do not allow the lesson to go ahead, Bassi will discuss adjusting the plan or rescheduling with you.

How do I book?
Message Bassi on WhatsApp with your preferred dates, number of people, surfing experience and accommodation location. Say whether you want a private class for one person or a small group class for at least two people. Bassi will confirm availability and the practical details.
You can also use the contact form or Instagram. Contact Bassi ahead of your visit to arrange your preferred dates.
Can I book several sessions?
Yes. Multi-session packs are available for longer stays. Tell Bassi your dates and goals so he can explain the available options. Each session can build on what you worked on previously.
Is accommodation included?
No. Surf coaching and accommodation are separate. Bassi can suggest places to stay in Tamraght and Taghazout. You can choose your own accommodation and confirm the meeting point or pick-up when booking.
Can I arrange a surf trip or more advanced coaching?
Yes. Bassi offers surf trips around Tamraght, Taghazout and Imsouane, and coaching for surfers who want to refine their technique. Contact him with your level, dates and goals to discuss availability, the itinerary and the price.
Can I book throughout the year?
Sessions can be arranged throughout the year, subject to conditions and availability. The right waves depend on your level and the weather on the day. Share your travel dates with Bassi to plan your sessions.
